L’applicazione, sviluppata dal Dipartimento per i Trasporti Terrestri del Ministero delle Infrastrutture e dei Trasporti permette di utilizzare in ogni momento, e particolarmente durante il viaggio, le informazioni relative al traffico ed alla viabilità gestite dalla centrale operativa del CCISS.

L'applicazione è pensata per ovviare alle interruzioni di collegamento alla rete mobile, che possono incorrere durante il viaggio. iCCISS scarica i dati sul traffico nel momento in cui viene attivata, e via via i successivi aggiornamenti. Ottimizza così lo scambio dei dati con il server e garantisce l'accesso ad un maggior numero di informazioni. Per lo stesso scopo, l'applicazione non utilizza mappe cartografiche "on line" ma le racchiude al suo interno.

iCCISS è disponibile per iOS (a breve anche per Android) in due versioni:

• Standard
• Professionale

Entrambe le versioni sono gratuite. La versione “pro” contiene mappe più dettagliate e occupa più spazio sul dispositivo.

A sua discrezione ed in modo anonimo, l'utente può scegliere di fornire i dati sul tratto percorso, consentendo agli operatori del CCISS di monitorare “in tempo reale” il flusso dei veicoli sulla rete stradale. L’attivazione di questa funzionalità è facoltativa, ma invitiamo tutti gli utenti a fornire, per se stessi e per gli altri, informazioni che risulteranno preziose per migliorare la qualità e la tempestività del servizio offerto dal CCISS.

The application, developed by the Department for Terrestrial Transportation of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport allows you to use at any time, and particularly during the journey, the traffic information managed by the CCISS operations centre.

The application is designed to remedy the disruption of connection to the mobile network, which may incur during the trip. iCCISS downloads traffic data when it is turned on, and as subsequent updates. In this way it optimizes the exchange of data with the server and provides access to more information. For the same purpose, the application does not use cartographic maps "on line" but encloses them inside.

iCCISS is available for iOS ( soon for Android) in two versions:

Both versions are free. The "pro" version contains more detailed maps and takes up more space on the device

At his discretion and anonymously, the user may choose to provide data on the distance traveled, allowing CCISS operators to monitor the flow of vehicles on the road network in "real time". Enabling this feature is optional, but we encourage all users to provide, for themselves and for others, information that will be valuable to improve the quality and timeliness of the service provided by the CCISS.
